Dawn & Cher
We are a Mother Daughter Duo most recently known for our appearance in TLC’s sMothered. Prior to our debut on TLC, many may recognize us from MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 Season 4 or MTV’s Exiled. We have a very close familial bond and although no relationship is perfect we decided to write a book which details our life and tips we believe truly do work to receive the type of connection you specifically want. Every bond is unique and we know that ours may seem a little crazy at times (but whose doesn’t?!), but no matter what, we have each others back and that will never change. We spent the past two years rehashing memories (good and bad), writing countless drafts, interviewing other mother daughter pairs, and editing for hours, in order to make a book that will not only be enjoyable and an interesting read, but will help countless mother daughter pairs create, mend, or strengthen their relationship so that they too can have “A Bond That Lasts Forever”.
Cher GOpman
Cher Hubsher (Gopman) is happily married to her college sweetheart, Jared, and currently resides in New York City. Her first major foray into television began with MTV, where her birthday bash was featured on My Super Sweet 16. The reality TV journey continued with a second show called Exiled, where she was sent to the jungles of Panama to stay with the Embera tribe.
Since her MTV days, Cher has worked in a number of different fields, becoming a professional cheerleader, an actress (with parts in movies like ‘Inoperable’ and ‘Amityville Terror’), and later, a registered nurse. Her nursing journey began in mental health, but later turned to cosmetic medical procedures.
Unable to tame her entrepreneurial spirit and her passion for helping people fall in love, Cher went on to open her own boutique date coaching company called NYC Wingwoman.
Cher and her mother have always been extremely close and, when an opportunity came their way to feature their relationship on television, they figured, “Why not?” Cher couldn’t wait to show the world that it was cool to be close with your mom!
When Cher isn't busy matchmaking/coaching in Manhattan, she can be found planning matching outfits for her and her daughter to wear when she enters the world, and dreaming of the day she can have her own animal sanctuary.
Dawn Hubsher
Dawn Hubsher is a bubbly, charismatic and strong minded woman who believes in living life to the fullest. She’s been married for 36 years and has 3 grown children. She is a firm believer in finding your inner happiness and feels that a strong family bond is one of life’s greatest joys!
Dawn has worn many hats over the years, first supporting her husband through medical school with her job as a dental hygienist, then as a mother to their young children, and now as the administrator of his successful medical practice. She’s a big proponent of mindful giving and supports as many charitable organizations as she can.
When Dawn isn't busy with her job and charity work, she can be found twinning with Cher, shopping all the newest trends, or beasting in the gym.
